1. Identity Group (Mothertongue Speakers) and Their bi/multilingualism.

The Santal are bilingual to a great extent. Apart from speaking their Santali mother tongue they also speak Oriya in Orissa, Bangali in West Bengal, Hindi in Jharkhand, Bihar, Assamese in Assam etc.
